It is my honor and pleasure to help authors find their voice, tell their story, and convey their unique ideas. I became an independent editor after spending a decade at Clarkson Potter/Penguin Random House and beginning my career at ReganBooks/HarperCollins. Over the past twenty years, I have developed and/or edited books by critically acclaimed and bestselling authors including Aerin Lauder, Frances Mayes, Deborah Needleman, The Kitchn, Apartment Therapy, Whoopi Goldberg, Blackberry Farm, Ciao Bella Gelato, TheKnot.com, Celerie Kemble, Alexa Hampton, Thom Filicia, Liv Tyler and Dorothea Johnson, Carolyne Roehm, Wally Lamb, Neil Strauss, and Todd Oldham.

As a freelance editor and writer, I develop book concepts; provide manuscript consultations; and edit and co-write proposals and full manuscripts. My clients include authors (whether they are self-published, traditionally published, or beginning their journey), agents, and publishers.

I also enjoy writing fiction. My debut novel, The Lending Library, won the 2022 Best Book Award for Women’s Fiction from American BookFest.

Areas of expertise: lifestyle books including decorating, cooking, personal style, and advice/how-to/reference; personal and celebrity memoir; nonfiction narrative/general interest; literary and commercial fiction; co-writing and ghostwriting.
