I joined the IEG after more than twenty-five years as a publisher and editor at Harmony Books, William Morrow/Hearst Books, Broadway Books and William Morrow/HarperCollins. I was Vice President and Publisher of William Morrow Cookbooks.

Prior to joining Morrow, I was Vice President, Executive Editor at Broadway Books, where I developed Broadway’s award-winning cookbook program. Deborah Madison, Patricia Wells, Jean-George Vongerichten, Emeril Lagasse, Cheryl and Bill Jamison, Sally Schneider, Patti LaBelle and Tom Douglas are among some of the many authors whose cookbooks I edited and published.

I also published many successful non-fiction and illustrated titles outside the cookbook category, including SuperFoods RX and SuperFoods HealthStyle by Steve Pratt, M.D. and Kathy Matthews, Vera Wang on Weddings by Vera Wang, The Girl’s Guide to Starting Your Own Business by Caitlin Friedman and Kim Yorio and Cooked: From the Streets to the Stove, From Cocaine to Foie Gras by Jeff Henderson.

I work for authors, publishers and literary agents on project development, proposal writing, structural and line editing and manuscript consultation.

Areas of interest and expertise: Business, cooking, diet, fitness, health and lifestyle, gastronomy, illustrated books, memoir, non-fiction narrative, popular psychology, reference and wine.
